The prophets lie and the priest takes bribes and the people like it so – Jeremiah 5:30
The Moral Failures of the Ancient World destroyed by a Flood were as follows:
• Preoccupation with physical appetites (Luke 17:27)
• Rapid advances in technology (Gen. 4:22)
• Uniformitarian philosophies (Heb. 11:7; 2 Pet 3:4)
• Inordinate devotion to pleasure and comfort (Gen. 4:21)
• No concern for God in either belief or conduct (2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 15)
• Disregard for the sacredness for the marriage relationship (Matt. 24:38)
• Rejection for the inspired Word of God (1 Pet. 3:19)
• Population explosion (Gen. 6:1,11)
• Corruption throughout society (Gen. 6:12)
• Preoccupation with illicit sexual activity (Gen. 4:19; 6:2)
• Widespread thoughts and words of blasphemy (Jude 1:15)
• Organized Satanic activity (Gen. 6:1-4)
• Promotion of systems and movements of abnormal depravity (Gen. 6:5,12)
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that these same moral failures are now pandemic in our own world. Could we be also on the cusp of a momentous fracturing of time which will bring out what has been prophesied so long ago by prophets, seers and messengers?
Below are a few (not even the tip of the iceberg) random examples of what we face as the people of God as we grapple with overwhelming sin and disgrace:

Making A Deal With The Devil: “The Spirit of Hophni And Phineas” – Prosperity Preachers, Self-Proclaimed Prophets, Sexual Deviants And The Proliferation Of Religious Scandals In The Modern Church – Part I
Helena Smith living in Athens writing for the Associated Press, in an explosive article entitled “Sex and Fraud Woe for Greek Church” says that:
“The Greek Orthodox Church, buffeted by sex and corruption scandals, met in emergency session yesterday amid lurid claims that have included one newspaper publishing photographs of a 91-year-old bishop naked in bed with a nubile young woman. Scrambling to resolve the worst crisis in the Church’s modern history, the embattled spiritual leader, Archbishop Christodoulos, convened the rare meeting as allegations of skullduggery, sexual improprieties, trial rigging, drug and antiquities smuggling engulfed the institution.”
Another article reads:
Jason Berry in a Sunday, April 10, 2005 article said that the new (Pope Benedict) must forthrightly confront church sex scandal Bishops with a history of sheltering priests who molested children will forever taint John Paul II’s legacy as a great leader. As the world’s cardinals for the Vatican conclave elect a new pope, they owe it to the faithful to choose a man who will confront the crisis that stains Pope John Paul II’s legacy: bishops and religious order superiors who have a long history of sheltering priests for gross sexual misconduct.
This story was a bit of a shocker:
Jehovah’s Witness William Bowen, Attorney Jeff Anderson and plaintiff Heidi Meyer announce a civil lawsuit filed against the Jehovah’s Witness Organization headquarters on Tuesday, July 2, 2002. Heidi Meyer said that “basically any way that he could put his hands on me, he did,” she told CBS News Correspondent Jane Clayson. From the time she was 10, until she turned 13, Heidi, a Jehovah’s Witness, says she was molested by a member of her congregation. Finally, she turned to the leaders of her faith. And what did they say? “They asked me, do you think this could be a misunderstanding? And I said, no. No, I’m very sure of how his hands were on my body and there’s no way to misunderstand that,” Meyer said.
But the elders dismissed her plea for help and sent her away with a warning: “You need to keep quiet about this. You don’t want to drag his name through the mud. You don’t want to drag the name of Jehovah’s organization through the mud.”
Amongst the most damnable falls from grace is the following report: On November 4, 2006, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Rev. Ted Haggard agreed to resign as leader of the mega-church he started in his basement more than 20 years earlier after its independent investigative board said he was guilty of “sexually immoral conduct.”
Haggard admitted he had received a massage from a Denver man who claimed the prominent pastor had paid him for sex over three years. Haggard also admitted he had bought methamphetamine.
After the allegations were made public, Haggard resigned as president of the influential National Association of Evangelicals, an umbrella group representing more than 45,000 churches with 30 million members.
In the lurid, virtual undercover world of internet sex, this next episode exposes many sexual challenges both men and women face in cyberspace.
Police arrested Pastor Barron, 52, a Prestonwood Baptist Church minister Thursday morning after he drove from Plano to Bryan to meet with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl he had met online, authorities say. The girl turned out to be a Bryan police officer working in an ongoing Internet sex sting. Barron was one of about 40 ministers at the 26,000-member Plano mega church. He’d worked there for about 18 months, ministering to married adults, ages 42 to 58.
Most Christians are totally unaware of what goes on in the wider Church world. If it doesn’t happen within the hallowed confines of their sacred walls, then maybe all is well with the world…
On June 14, 2007, The Houston Chronicle posted an article by ROSE FRENCH from the Associated Press, entitled, “3 Insurers Shed Light On Protestant Church Sex Abuse”:
“The three companies that insure the majority of Protestant churches in America say they typically receive upward of 260 reports each year of young people under 18 being sexually abused by clergy, church staff, volunteers or congregation members.”
Religious groups and victims’ supporters have been keenly interested in the figure ever since the Roman Catholic sex abuse crisis hit more than five years ago. The church has revealed that there have been 13,000 credible accusations against Catholic clerics since 1950.
There are about 224,000 cases in the U.S., according to the Association of Statisticians of American Religious Bodies, although that number excludes most historically Black denominations and some other groups, which account for several thousand congregations.
One of the largest settlements to date in Protestant churches involved the case of former Lutheran minister Gerald Patrick Thomas Jr. in Texas, where a jury several years ago awarded the minister’s victims nearly $37 million. Separate earlier settlements involving Thomas cost an additional $32 million.”
One of the worst scandals to hit the Church is this current story which is going to trial.
“Pastor admits stabbing lover’s husband“- A Northwest Georgia pastor who was part of a love triangle pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing his lover’s husband.
Richard Scott Harper, 37, made a deal with prosecutors that allow Harper and co-defendant Michelle Reynolds, 39, to avoid the death penalty. Reynolds’ husband, Thad Reynolds, was found stabbed multiple times in July 2004 outside a Frito-Lay distribution plant where he was a manager. Harper and Thad Reynolds were good friends, police said. Thad and Michelle Reynolds attended Hollywood Baptist Church, where Harper was the family pastor and Thad Reynolds was a marriage counselor and deacon.
This story is the tragedy facing the modern Church – where the problems stem from the “HEAD” downwards…
The Religious Right is a horrible culprit when it comes to not disciplining and not expelling grossly perverted ministers. The Religious Right cries out against these sins (same-sex marriage, homosexuality etc.) in the secular world but ignores the exact same sins that occur within its own pulpits.
For example, Daryl Gilyard was first investigated (and confessed to) sexual sins while in the pulpit at Victory Baptist Church in Richardson, TX. He then pastored Shiloh Baptist in Jacksonville and then faced criminal charges there for sending lewd messages to an underage girl, and yet he is now in the pulpit at First Timothy Baptist Church in Jacksonville.
Dave Hyles was expelled from the pulpit of Miller Road Baptist Church in Garland Texas for having affairs with 14 different married women and using them to film pornography. He then moved to Illinois where he became the prime suspect in the suspicious death of Brent Stevens, the son of his lover. He was then accepted onto church staff at Pinellas Park Baptist Church (now Crosspointe) in Pinellas Park, Florida, where he was abruptly expelled and left office. His former church secretary was later busted for prostitution. He then moved to Berean Baptist Church in Orange Park Florida, with no warning given to the congregation, and within a few months again left abruptly (with an unexplained black eye). He was admitted to the congregation of First Baptist of Jacksonville without any call for him to give account of what happened to Brent Stevens.
And yes, Pastor Jerry Vines was warned, because someone sent him Brent Steven’s autopsy and inquest reports, at which Dave Hyles pleaded the 5th Amendment.
This is as I said the tip of the iceberg..
We can continue to hunker down in our cushy sofas, padded pews and lazy-boy armchairs while the Church and the world goes to HELL in a hand-basket while we do nothing or say nothing…

I have been on this earth long enough to realise that when it comes to matters dealing with mankind nothing surprises me anymore. Wether it be matters of religious nature, politics, personal realtionship, etc the results are always the same: Don’t put your trust in mankind because he will always let you down.I have always cogitate about the flaws of mankind and wether it was an accident of evolution or why did a supreme “loving” creator create such evil in the first place. Lets face it mankind is evil personified and it dosent matter the strength or weakness of his moral uprightness. Because as history as shown us what is happening around us today is just a recyling of human vices ever since time immemorial.
Organised religion in the mold of Judeo-christanity disqualifies itself for being the standard bearer of morality in the society given its blighted history. What is happening in the church today –and will continue forever- is just a contiuation of old vices and should come as no surprises to anyone. People who continue to be surprised or outraged by these human failings of others who we hoist on a pedestal are irrational and deluded.
DAVID @ BU
Great weekend to ALL*…
Permit me to drag (kicking, hollering & screaming) a question you posed in the 10:10:10 article over here given the nature of this Sunday morning discussion…
LOL!!!
DAVID@BU
“The Bible is said to be a collection of ‘books’ obviously written in a different time. If we accept that in 2010 we live in a ‘another’ time, the question always remains how do we factor the gap which the Bible must present given that the time is now?”
David the Bible states that all Scripture is and was given by “INSPIRATION” to men of old who wrote under the aegis of the Holy Spirit; revelation by angels and in some cases as Paul reminded us that “he spoke as a man in selective instances based on his religious convictions.
The gravity of your question David has baffled theologians, secularists and even atheists for centuries…
The long history of canonical sacred text is mired to say the least in controversy… Have a look at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biblical_apocrypha
Over the centuries, many books have been removed from the [66] books of the current Bible. As you would see from the above link – several of the writers have all historically claimed to one degree or another some form of “inspiration” based on the text they produced…
What has happened David is that the Church fathers (especially the Vatican manipulators) have either through decree or subterfuge decided what is worthy of inclusion and what’s not.
My personal belief (and it remains that) – is that the “gift of prophecy” was meant to be alive within the CHURCH* from the days of ADAM* to Noah – then from Noah to Jesus and subsequently to move down through the corridors of the last 2000 years to our present day.
The problem has been a lack of consistency because of the spurious nature of the conflicting forces of GOOD v EVIL* and how as Jesus said – “while men slept, an enemy crept in unaware and sowed counterfeit seeds…”
It is for this reason that we have the myriad of all kinds of religions, faiths, sects, groups and beliefs… This plurality has created a maze that is virtually impossible to navigate and AGAIN* – (my belief) is that “every man must work out his own salvation…”
To try and impose or to force a specific belief down anyone’s throat is clearly the spirit of “Antichrist”… Not even Jesus forced anyone – moreover, he wooed through simple, untainted love… And we have too many examples where He came down like a ton of bricks on scribes and Pharisees who tried to hang religiosity around the necks of other men while closing the doors of heaven to others…
So, I am not 100% sure that there is a simplistic answer to your question…
You mentioned the word “GAP” – which implies that the relevance of OT v NT theology is out of sync with 21st century society and for a lot of reasons there is a lot of truth to that insinuation. However, the root of the problem lies in our interpretation of Scripture and the duality of application which is needed to give it wings…
Many of the so-called modern-day theologians make a sincere attempt at scriptural exegesis but are oftentimes so far off the mark – notwithstanding, that given modern application to text that is 100’s if not 1000’s of years in its prima facie narrative does not do justice to contemporary ills. At the same time, some will argue that there’s nothing new under the sun… So the difficulty really comes in how we give the necessary application to what is already written down as sacred text.
How do we apply it individually to our circumstances?
How do we apply it in a way that makes sense?
Can we work harder to give greater resonance to what are often difficult texts?
Finally, can we be more open-minded to debate areas of controversy and to agree to disagree and vica versa until some consensus is reached (if at all)…
DAVID, THESE ARE A FEW OF THE QUESTIONS WE NEED TO ANSWER HONESTLY!!!
So there really is nothing new under the sun, as is said in Ecclesiastes…all I am curious about at now is what does the blogger recommend after highlighting these scandals???
@ Paul Barnes
“I am curious about at now is what does the blogger recommend after highlighting these scandals???”
Let me ask you a question Paul – “IS IT TIME FOR A SERIOUS DIALOGUE ON THE ISSUES WHICH CONFRONT US?”
@TB
You mentioned the men who wrote the books of the bible were ‘invaded’ with Holy Spirit. Is it possible to drill down/provide insight on how the holy spirit affected the output/performance of these writings? Is it more an amorphous description or was the influence of the Holy Spirit done within a parameter?
There is a very strong link between sexual depravity and criminal activity. One of the reasons that I have always maintained that people who change the natural order of sexuality are dangerous people.
Off topic!
BTW, David, the Holy Spirit did not ‘invade’ the writers of God’s Word, He Divinely ‘Inspired’ them, an entirely different matter.
All of this scandelous stuff, is nothing new, just being exposed for what it is, we are warned in the NT that such behaviour will happen, and, there is nothing really that any of us can do to stop it; it hurts terribly the cause of Christ and His Gospel, and it unfortunately turns OFF those on the outside of His ‘True’ Church from coming to KNOW Jesus as Saviour and Lord, this will, however NOT be an excuse for not ‘individually’ REPENTING’ and surrendering one’s life to HIM, on judgment day, NO matter WHO is exposed of whatever SIN, it will NEVER turn those of us who KNOW ‘HIM’ off of HIM!
As Jesus explained in the Parable of the Tares.
“Then Jesus sent the multitudes away and went into the house. And His disciples came to Him, saying. ‘Explain to us the parable of the tears of the field.” He answered and said to them: ‘He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the WORLD, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, BUT the TARES are the sons of the wicked one.” (Matt. 13: 36-38) emphasis added.
Kingdom Dynamics.
vv. 13: 37, 38 His Field – A Promise of Harvest. WORLD EVANGELISM. To the farmer, the field is a promise of harvest. This area of land prompts his vision of yielding crop. Having given the parable of the Sower (vv. 3-9) and the Wheat and the Tares (vv. 24-30), Jesus interprets the parabolic picture. “the field is the world.” Christ’s own imagery points to the process of world evangelism. Go and sow. The field may be RAVISHED by drought (spiritual need) or insect (spiritual opponents), but in either case the field is itself the summons. Lift up your eyes ( Prov. 29: 18; John 4: 35-37) ( Isa. 40: 8-11/Matt. 24: 14) G.C.
As Jesus then goes on to point out:
“The enemy who sowed them is the DEVIL, the harvest is the END of the AGE, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the TARES are gathered and BURNED in the fire, so it will be at the END of this age. The Son of Man (Jesus) will send out His angels, and they will GATHER out of His kingdom ALL things that offend, and those who practice LAWLESSNESS, and will CAST them into the FURNACE of FIRE. There will be WAILING and GNASHING of teeth. THEN the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their FATHER. He who has EARS to HEAR, let him HEAR!” (vv. 39-43) emphasis added.
SO IT BE!
A quotation from a Barbadian writer. Angela Cole:
“The danger is not homosexuality in high places but closet homosexuality because of blackmail. We all have our problems and therefore we should not look down on homosexuals but homosexuality is deviant behaviour, and not to be pushed as an alternatiave lifestyle.”
DAVID @ BU
“You mentioned the men who wrote the books of the bible were ‘invaded’ with Holy Spirit. Is it possible to drill down/provide insight on how the Holy Spirit affected the output/performance of these writings? Is it more an amorphous description or was the influence of the Holy Spirit done within a parameter?”
Within the context of your question is this unique aspect of how different individual writers (over a period of a few 1000 years – from Moses to John the beloved) were all “INFLUENCED” in one way or another to interpret through the leading of the Holy Spirit and based on their historical position at the time – a message that would serve past and present generations.
How the Holy Spirit directed or dictated that process varies according to individuals. For example, Daniel was given specific (in your face) prophetic instruction and understanding of things to happen throughout the historical epoch of man but was told to seal up the book until the “time of the end” – “for men will run to and fro and knowledge shall be increased”.
The opening of that book was then given to John the beloved on the Isle of Patmos to fulfill the word spoken by Gabriel to Daniel. Each succeeding prophet, seer or messenger was also given a specific message for his time with oftentimes dual connotations for others who would follow in future dispensations.
To ask if the “Inspiration” given to the prophets was an “amorphous description” would belittle the power of God* in getting across to man what He wants for him to know and understand – because without that clearly, defined knowledge, one could easily argue they didn’t know or weren’t told. So God spoke in EXACT*terms to His prophets and messengers and it was for them to get that message across in a way that would bring about the greatest and most lasting effect.
The other part of your question is puzzling for the mere reason that God always works within the “PARAMETERS” of man’s understanding by oftentimes giving greater light, insight and knowledge of the things He wants for us to understand. My belief is that when God spoke to his prophets, seers and messengers it wasn’t because they were any more special than anyone else – (I will agree that some were anointed in their mother’s womb for specific services) but it does not take away from the fact that God oftentimes called men who were the least qualified, least visible but above all, the least worthy of such a role.
No wonder He says that He hasn’t called the wise; the strongest; princes or nobles; but rather chose the “foolish” things of this world to confound those who thought they were wise…
What must be acknowledged is that the Holy Spirit spoke consistently over the millennia to men in several different vocations and stations in life and based on their availability – they received the “Thread” of God Word which if you looked throughout scripture, you will see a consistent theme – which is “JESUS CHRIST”!!!
DAVID @ BU
“Burke was no fan of younger black hip-hop musicians, whom he saw as godless…”
This is a view that is being shared by many in the evangelical community because of the rampant nature of this subculture and its pervasiveness across every segment of society – but moreover, its effects on the minds of our young men and women…
Sources in the Netherlands says it maybe DVT from the long-flight!!!
That’s why we should at least pop a dispersible aspirin before long travel…
The bible is no more divinely inspired than Homer Illiad, The epic of gilgamesh, The upanishad/Bagavad gita, or for that matter Dante’s inferno. All are great work of in the history of classic literature. The books of the bible may be the greatest story that has ever being told but their is nothing divine of the human imagination to conjure up these epics.
@TB
Thanks, will ‘ruminate’ on your feedback.
@Zoe
The use of ‘invade’ was in response to TB’s comment therefore it is understood the meaning conveyed by him was received hence the inverted commas.
The biblical concept referred to as the plenary verbajl insoiration of HOly Scriptures is clearly presented in @Peter 1:21 & 2 Timothy 3:16
In the original Greek 2 Tim 3:16 says that ALL Holy Scriptures are GOD BREATHED (theos pneuptos).
The Moral Failures of the Ancient World destroyed by a Flood were as follows:
• Preoccupation with physical appetites (Luke 17:27)
• Rapid advances in technology (Gen. 4:22)

============================================
On reading the words above this morning , I wondered if the Bar Raiser’s brain had experienced a reversal of the rigormortization of its physiology. Because their much sense and truth in the abobe
But then he carried on. And I realized that nothing had really changed.
Could we be also on the cusp of a momentous fracturing of time which will bring out what has been prophesied so long ago by prophets, seers and messengers?
Below are a few (not even the tip of the iceberg) random examples of what we face as the people of God as we grapple with overwhelming sin and disgrace:
QUESTION WHAT DID JESUS SAY ABOUT THE BEHAVIOR IN THE TIME OF NOAH AND THE TIME OF SODOM IN RELATIONSHIP TO HIS SECOND
COMING?
Jesus told the Jews who were seeking a sign as they were taught to do in Deut 18 that PRIOR TO HOS COMING THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD WOULD BE BEHAVING LIKE THE FOLK IN NOAH’S DAY and in THE DAYS OF LOT.
It seems to me that he was giving the world of our day a warning.
That is what is relevant!
In 2 Peter 3 Peter reports that the WORLD THAT WAS, was destroyed by a flood
Then he declares that the WORLD THAT IS, will be destroyed by fire
Then he asserts that the WORLD THAT WILL BE , will never be destroyed
The church was told NOT to sin 1 John 2:1………..to confess their sins when they did sin 1 John 1:9 and rely on the intercessory work of hrist 1 John 2:2
Where in the Word is the Church taught that thy must “grapple with overwhelming sin and disgrace?
The church was taught in the Great Commission to GO TEACH BAPTIZE and TEACH
The church was taught in 2 Peter 2 and Jude inter alia how to recognize the apostates and false teachers that would from bolt WITHIN the church and WITHOUT the church c.f Acts 20:28
In Revelation 1-3 is given a prediction of the course of Church History, so we know exavtly what is supposed to transpire.
How is it that this bird brained joker does not teach
What the church is according to the NT ?
Who comprises the church according to the NT ?
Important issues about the doctrine of the church according to the NT ?
The predicted course of the church according to the NT ?
The rapture and rewards of the church according to the NT ?
For it is very clear that few on BU know these principles.
How is it that this bird brained joker does not teach WHY the false “church” is in a state of apostasy, and the true “church” is sleeping in many places?
The controversial book, “Harmful to Minors – The Perils of Protecting Children from Sex” by Judith Levine, who lives in Brooklyn and is founder of the feminist organization “No More Nice Girls” suggest that “pedophiles frequently are quite harmless people”…
Her contention is that sex is really a wonderful part of growing up and that our young people and kids “can enjoy the pleasures of the body” yet somehow still be safe….
Judith cites that the system in Holland is such that the law allows sex between adults and children (as young as twelve years old) if the activity is “consensual.”
Judith believes that when adults “protect” children from sexual activity, that it can actually do them more harm than good.
A subtitle in the book “the enemy is us” definitely raises eyebrows…
Levine argues that when the controversy regarding sexual abuse among Catholic priests began to rage a Minneapolis newspaper reporter interviewed her and her comments were that a sexual relationship between a priest and a boy could “conceivably, absolutely” be a positive experience…
She suggests that a sexual relationship between a teenager and an older person could be “more like salvation than victimization” (“ABCNews.com, April 5, 2002”). The pedophile’s “salvation” could lead to the Bible’s “damnation”…
So beware that there is a LOBBY* of astute individuals who see nothing wrong in destroying the “virginity” of our sons & daughters…
Paul Barnes | October 10, 2010 at 6:30 AM |
So there really is nothing new under the sun, as is said in Ecclesiastes…all I am curious about at now is what does the blogger recommend after highlighting these scandals???
VERY GOOD QUESTION SIR?
@Paul
The act of highlighting atrocities usually dealt behind close doors makes public discourse an important part of the process to seek justice no?
Let’s examine what is happening in the Catholic Church. The crap has started to come out and there seems to be no stopping it.
Terrence man Judith Levine is a pervert plain and simple why do you seek to dress her up nice and call her an astute individual??
Astute my a*s!!!!!!
Just because she is an American like you makes her astute?
In Barbads we would call her just what she is a ole’ wufless woman, and probably a mother harlot too.
GP, don’t forget, that even though TB acknowledges his own denomination, SDA, as having its own share of Sin, this man as an ardent SDA, embraces the heretical teaching of SDA FALSE prophetest Ellen G. White, i.e., Sabbatarianism, Soul Sleep, NO eternal DAMNATION for lost souls, utter unscriptural NONSENSE, The Cleansing of the Heavenly Sancturary and the Invetigative Judgment, that JESUS only entered the Holy of Holies sometime around the 18th Century, again, BLASPHEMOUS unbiblical nonsense, and one of his more recent diatribes, being the imposition of the ‘blue law’ Sunday thing, so that we must always bear in mind, that TB, has an agenda, as an SDA adherent, and because I exposed in detail the heretical nonsense of Ellen G. White, there is no doubt, that he is now attacking every other denomination throughout ‘Christendom’ as a retaliation, especially Protestant, Evangelical, Pentecostal, Baptist, et al.
@ J
The word “astute” was not used as commendation for Judith but rather for those “lawmakers” and other avant garde persons in certain societies who operate under the radar and in the back-rooms making deals which would outlaw things like pedophilia – hence the word “LOBBY”…
Judith Levine is merely an academic with a viewpoint, conviction – call it what you want…
Look who wrote the “FOREWARD” to her book – THE FORMER SURGEON GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES UNDER BILL CLINTON’S ADMINISTRATION (Dr.Joycelyn Elders)…
P.S. On a point of correction, I am not American by birth – ( I was born in the United Kingdom from Bajan parents) whatever citizenship I have adopted is neither here nor there… My “ROOTS”, CULTURE & LENIENCE is strictly Bajan PERIOD!!!!
Firstly, I get branded as a HERETIC!!!
Secondly, as a Muslim sympathizer…
Thirdly, I am tarred & feathered with the spurious brush of wanting to tear down the existing “WALLS” of Protestant Christianity because of some inherent hatred or retaliatory nuclear strike due in part or the whole to some vendetta…
I am appalled at people who don’t know anything about me from a hole in the wall but can make such pathetic claims…
As we say in BIM* – “they tink I now come town?”
For one, I have been “ANTI-ESTABLISHMENT” from the day I was born (believe me, no references required)… Nothing new there!!!
On another issue of importance, if these institutions (some which have stood for centuries) cannot withstand intellectual assault at the gates and/or scrutiny – then are they worth our time, money and effort? Then you decide!!!
Most of the “quote on quote” RELIGIOUS* organizations on this planet will have their day in the (SON*) – no misspelling there!!!
Am I frankly bothered as to how the walls of these religions institutions (including my own) are bombarded? Again you decide!!!
One thing is for sure – people like me and the others aren’t going anywhere, anytime soon – so live with it!!!
This is the time and this is the age of the dissenter!!!
@ Paul Barnes
As David rightly annotated – when the CHURCH* remains complicit in cover-up, shenanigans and even duplicity – (LET ME ASK YOU A QUESTION) – what choice is left?

Maybe the proponents of PTRD on this Blog can enlighten you as to how this concoction was devised… LOL
