After TRAYVON MARTIN: Black Boys Speak

Greetings everyone. I hope you all are well. I am respectfully asking that you view a new video that Bucktown USA Entertainment and I just produced entitled “After Trayvon: Black Boys Speak.” It is an inspiring and emotionally gripping public conversation amongst 9 Black and Latino boys ages 10-17. It was shot in Brooklyn, New York in early April 2012 at the famous House of the Lord Church just days before George Zimmerman was arrested for the fatal shooting. “After Trayvon” brings together these young boys to discuss Trayvon Martin, their own feelings of vulnerability and fear, education, leadership, violence in all forms, history as they understand it, and how they view America, their America. I serve as moderator for the conversation.

We want this video to go viral, and I am personally asking that all of you share the video near and far, that you embed it on your website and or listserve with a note encouraging folks to watch it and to use it as a conversation piece and or a teaching tool. This is our contribution to a national and international conversation that needs to happen. And who better to lead it than the young males who are most affected by the issue of racial profiling?

This is a classic case where peeps believe they know what happened BUT the truth is…… NONE of us do!

The critical problem is that the Sanford PD did not make it clear that they were conducting a thorough, professional investigation. This PD has a somewhat checkered history in such racially charged matters, as is very likely true in the South, especially.

Whether the media purposely decided to represent TM as an innocent looking kid and GZ as a thug is debatable BUT that was the effect of the first impression that most people received.

Zoe’s statistical quotes may well be right and much of the crime is based in the illicit drug situation in the Ghetto. Therefore the pressing issue is how to solve the problem?

1 make all drugs legal, therefore causing price collapse and turning illicit drugs from a massive cost into a good revenue generator. Those who use drugs would probably be Addicted no matter what…..they have the GENE that makes peeps addicts.

2 Take the additional revenue and properly educate kids in the Ghetto.

3 Develop several policies designed to lift people out of poverty

4 insist that abled bodied people MUST be working towards a program of success OR cut off $$$$ in assistance. Naturally trade and other policies must be addressed.

This is about HAARP.
OK so I may be ignorant,but to me it is all new,but I beleive most are like me.
Read it the imports of it; amazingly disturbing.
Think about Al Gore and his World crusade about global warming.
Whereas it appears to me USofA KNEW what was hppening and why and that THEY were responsible.
