  3. Tiger is back!!!!! Great early start this year.

  4. @Hants

At least your man got a top 5 finish. The season young.

  5. David tomorrow’s race is going to very exciting especially at the start.

‘Hamilton gets a five-place grid drop for changing gearboxes prior to qualifying,”

Expect to see him trying to get back to 4th in the first lap or two.

  6. @Hants

The three races so far show that the Mercedes needs more development to compete.

  7. History made today.

  8. @Hants

    Pure entertainment.

  9. David some of us have adapted to the ” baseball” format that is T20.

The longer formats are more pure but some of us cannot afford the luxury of attending Test matches.

When I retire I will embrace that format again.

Nuff respect to Chris Gayle for contributing to the Jamaican economy.

  10. Chris Gayle said “We’re paid to be competitive out there, serious event the IPL, lot of money being spent, you want to put on your best performance at all times.”

Hope we get a TPL (Toronto Premier League) soon.

In the meantime there is a CPL tournament starting end of July and Barbados ain’t ready yet.

This would be an opportunity to give Tourism a little summer boost.

  11. Hants

  16. @Hants

Hamilton is on the front of the grid tomorrow.

  17. Should be a very exciting race.

Hope the racing isn’t influenced by tire management as much as the previous races this season.

  18. Ryan Brathwaite 100m hurdles wins at the Adidas Grand Prix earlier today in New York.

    Season’s best time.

  19. JUST ASKING

    Good for you RYAN

Did not even know you were running
The Bajans are a silly people
    Dont ever support their own
Radio Stations in Barbados are serving no useful purposes None
    Should close down really !
If the Stations are not promoting Barbados, they are really not serving any purpose and are Parasites

  20. Tough luck to Hamilton, so close and yet so far. At least it stays with the team!

Also looks like Dwayne Smith’s MI will take our Bravo’s CSK with 66 balls to go.

  21. Hello BTA and Minister of Tourism,

Organisers of the 2013 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix have announced that singing superstar Rihanna will headline their spectacular race day concert at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday, September 22. The Barbados-born singer, who has sold over 41 million albums and 150 million digital tracks worldwide, will perform at Singapore’s biggest outdoor stage as part of her much raved about ‘2013 Diamonds World Tour’

  31. Watched it this morning. Hamilton has matured but still drives at the limit with whatever they give him to drive.

  32. David the CPL has been attracting massive crowds and should be a huge success.

It has certainly generated a lot of economic activity.

  33. @Hants

No one can disagree BUT as the bushman will likely chime in to say, why did we have to wait on the foreigner?

  34. Well done Jamaica. Winners of the CPL T20

I watched the whole tournament and was entertained.

  35. Yes congrats to the CPL, it is bound to get bigger and better next year.

  36. RIP Ken Norton

  37. At last…..
    West Indies beat India.

It was worth getting up at 3am to watch the match.

  38. And they nearly threw it away, Narine and Holder should be sent packing.

  39. Match starting in 10 minutes. West Indies batting

  40. After all these years of cricketing history a visa is required to play in New Zealand and Australia.

“Up to last night, Brathwaite was still frustrated in Barbados awaiting the green light from the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) regarding the processing of a New Zealand visa and an Australian transit visa before departing the Caribbean.
